No: Not unless you count breast milk as food. It is transmitted person to person in various body fluids and secretions. Not in food, not in water, not in animals.

CMV: Cytomegalovirus (CMV) can be transmitted via contact with infected saliva, blood, urine, semen, & tears. It is spread through breastfeeding & sexual interactions as well as blood transfusions & organ transplants.
