What has happened to the heart of someone who's diagnosed with bad peripheral arteriosclerosis?

Hard to say: Without specifically evaluating the heart it is hard to say, but chances are that if there is atherosclerosis in the peripheral arteries, there is some in the heart as well because atherosclerosis is a systemic disease.
