Did you lose your : Sense of taste? If you are asking, is it possible to lose your sense of taste forever, yes, it is possible. The first place i would look is, what are your eating habits? Are you eating a lot of spicey foods? If yes, it hopefully wil be temporary. The permanent loss could result from neurological damage like a stroke. It also could happen from a wisdom tooth extraction. Hope this helps.

Dysgeusia: is a change in your sense of taste due to a variety of causes; from medication you may be taking to dental problems. In your case pregnancy-related (estrogen) changes in your sense of smell may also lead to dysgeusia. It is very common condition in pregnancy. Usually it is transient. With Geographic tongue people may notice they have a“bitter” or “metallic” taste in their mouths. Good luck.
