Depends on reason: It really depends on what the pain is from. However, two things that you can do until you see a doc for a diagnosis, stretching and core strengthening are key to preventing and treating back pain. If you have radiating pain then see a physician sooner and be more cautious with stretching. Also work on ergonomics and workspace design as well as weight loss if that is an issue. Hope that helps!
