Flu like: Sars starts like a cold or flu with fever, body aches, sore throat, cough, then progresses to shortness of breath and eventually if it becomes full-blown, respiratory distress and respiratory failure.

Symptoms: may include fever, cough, feeling tired, shortness of breath, muscle aches, headache, sore throat, chills, chest pain, nasal congestion, loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips, persistent chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.
