Pattern hair loss?: I think you are asking about pattern hair loss and this happens in both men and women. It is partly genetic and partly from the male hormones we produce. The testosterone is converted to DHT that starts the thinning and shrinking of the hair follicle with ultimate loss in hair. Hope this helps
