A member asked:

My friend has frequent headache.does the low hematocrit causes such head aches? what are the possible causes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Low hematocrit could definitely cause headaches. Your friend should find out the cause of the low hematocrit (is it iron deficiency or something else) and then treat that. There are lots of other causes of headache however. If treating the anemia doesn't help, your friend should see a doctor. One other simple treatment is to make sure your friend drinks enough water. Also, avoid sugar.
