Can do preg. test: A urine pregnancy test done correctly will give a reliable result by 1 week after missing a period or 3 weeks after sex (when conception might have occurred). Whether pregnant or not, a primary care doctor can check on the other symptoms to see if there is a cold, a flu-like illness, or something else going on.
