after birth my cycle ranges between 27-29 days.(before birth-30days cycle)today is cd1(29day cycle).does it mean ovulation was on 29 dec?14 days back

Maybe: There is no date for "today". But ovulation usually occurs 14 days before a menses. The best time for intercourse is the 5 days prior to ovulation. Once ovulation takes place there is no chance of achieving pregnancy.
