Yes: For a pregnant woman, the parmesan cheese that she usually eats without problems, is also safe to eat during pregnancy. Parmesan is a "hard" cheese and has little risk for carrying listeria bacteria. Some of the "soft" cheeses, especially those that are not processed and not prepackaged, are more risky. It's best to avoid unpasteurized cheese and other unpasteurized dairy products.
