Check preg. test...: If the next period is more that a week late, then check a urine pregnancy test. Pregnancy is not likely if a couple doesn't "have actual intercourse" (but occasionally some stray sperm makes it way to the little egg). So, the couple can do two things. First, both people can keep their jeans on, and secondly, get prepared with condoms and ask about birth control pills... In case the jeans come off.
