Penicillin: All depends on your the severity of your penicillin allergy and how long ago it occured, if it was more than 10 years ago, and it was only a rash, you are probably ok. If you vomited 5 minutes after you took it, you should be ok as well. Any hives or difficulty breathing rush to the er.

Yes: Vomiting is considered a sign of anaphylaxis although it cannot always be distinguished from an intolerance. Given the prior history of penicillin reaction, the probability of Amoxicillin anaphylaxis is high and the next one can be even more serious. See an allergist if you have questions but no penicillin , amoxicillin, or Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) until after an evaluation.
