Yes.: You may not be gaining weight due to ibs especially diarrhea. Treat the ibs ( zelnorm, amitiza) first.Some medications that can increase your appetite ( remeron) can also help the ibs. If that doesn't help, a drug called Megace (megestrol) may help.
