Too soon: Keep up the trying. Some very normal people may not have babies immediately. And some for several years! testing is expensive- wait.

Patience: If you are having regular monthly periods, keep trying. It can take up to 18 months for a normal couple to achieve conception. Most recommendations are to defer infertility testing until you have been trying to conceive for at least 12 months. If you are not already taking folic acid, you should start it now. Good luck.
