I agree - I would recommend trying for at least 12 months prior to seeking additional testing.

Patience: If you are having regular monthly periods, keep trying. It can take up to 18 months for a normal couple to achieve conception. Most recommendations are to defer infertility testing until you have been trying to conceive for at least 12 months. If you are not already taking folic acid, you should start it now. Good luck.
