Try Tylenol (acetaminophen) : As an alternative without the gastrointestinal side effects. Consult with your doctor to be sure that other medications you are taking do not also contain tylenol (acetaminophen) so that you don't exceed the maximum daily allowance. Also, non medicine interventions include seeing a physical therapist for heat, electrical stimulation or other modalities. Consider alternative treatments like acupuncture.

Orthotics: Can provide support cushioning and balance. Physical therapy and cortisone injections may help as well. And if all else fails surgery can help to restore function and decrease pain.
