A member asked:

If you forget to take a birth-control pill and the next day take two doses, can the ovulation still occur?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Birth control: It is always a good idea to double up a dose if you miss a pill. Most likely the pill will still be effective that month unless you miss more than two doses in a row. It is never a bad idea to use back-up contraception for the rest of the month as an extra precaution.
