Reflux: Probably from reflux when the valve between the stomach and food pipe does not hold the stomach contact back. This is worsened by weight gain and large meals.

Reflux.: Gastroesophageal reflux is common, especially after a heavy meal, or after eating fried foods, fatty foods, chocolate, or when you are overweight/obese. Certain medical conditions also predispose to such symptoms, e.g. Sliding hiatal esophageal hernia, gallstones, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease.
