Just the "prenatal": Normal, healthy women planning to have a baby can take just the "prenatal" vitamin, which should have 400 mcg of Folic Acid in it to help prevent some birth defects like spina bifida (a neural tube defect). There usually are not other vitamins required for pregnancy. Also, foods containing folate (similar to folic acid) include green leafy vegetables, nuts, beans, etc...
