A member asked:

If i start rogaine, (minoxidil) do i need it forever? (50yo woman with parents with thin hair)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Define "forever.": If you stop using it, your hair will go back to the way it was before you started using it - but that doesn't mean you're stuck with it "forever." it means you need to keep using it until a better, more permanent hair loss treatment is invented. That could be next week or 10 years from now, but not "forever.".
