What symptoms or results separate lupus from ms?

See details: The diagnosis should be relative easy to make especially if the ANA and other autoantibodies for lupus are negative. The spinal fluid results can also be helpful. The MRI may be less so. If the ANA and dna are positive, think lupus.

Many: Lupus can cause skin changes over face, joint issues, and has blood tests which can confirm. Certainly, there can be peripheral nerve problems, and involvement of internal organs. MS is a disorder of brain, spinal cord, and eyes, lacks useful blood tests, but has specific patterns, and can be confirmed by MRI changes.
