Varies: The term spondylitis of the lumbar or cervical spine is another way to say you have some degenerative arthritis in your spine, which in and of itself is not a deterrent to activity. Certainly, if any activity you do regularly causes severe pain. It would be best avoided. Also please reconsider the use of a helmet, it could save your life.
