This is a normal process relating to your body developing various hormone and organ connections. Irregular periods can continue even until 19-20 in some people. Also, please be sure you are truly ready before having sex and use contraception, as well as use condoms!

Very Normal: If your cycles delay more than 3 months, you may want to consider hormonal management. Oral contraceptive pills (ocps) are also helpful in not just regulating cycles and providing birth control, they also help with acne, ovulation or menstrual pain, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, ; ovarian cancer prevention if taken long enough.
