What are the chances of spinal fusion of the c4-5 disc not working? After a year and a half my 53 year old mother has no relief.

There is always the: Possibility of non-union after any fusion surgery. She might another (re-fusion) surgery. Talk it with your surgeon or get a 2nd opinion; or the cause of pain be something else.
