Tingling: Sometimes tingling on the outside of your thigh can be related to a pinched nerve in your low back however what you describe could even be something as simple as a bruised area.

Back/disk problem: This symptom can have several sources. The most common is an irritated nerve in your low back. It can also be caused by a hip joint problem or muscle problem. The most common treatment for each of these is physical therapy. There are also other rarer causes if this symptom. Your doctor can help you identify the cause and develope a treatment plan with you.
