Pain relief: Is reported for severe pain. Some mind relief as well. Possible action with other narcotics - morphine as used by hospice organizations. Smoking anything may yield carcinogens - particularly for lung- which is sensitive.

Symptomatic only: Marijuana only treats symptoms of pain and muscle spasm in some situations determined by a doctor it has nothing to do with the causes of cancer!
