Not likely: Vaginal yeast infections are common. Normal immune system will prevent invasive blood borne infection.

Never heard of it: I haven't heard of a vaginal yeast infection causing other problems, such as yeast in the blood. I imagine that could happen in a very immunosuppressed person, such as in aids, etc.
