Yes may have periods: Jadelle implants, in the usa sold as mirena, (levonorgestrel) has as active medication Levonorgestrel hormone. Most common side effect is an irregular menses 30-50% of the times. Some woman stop menstruating all together, approximately 20-30% of woman. Yes menstruation can continue with the use of jadelle.
