Quite Common Rx: Dutasteroid-t is used for treatment of bph.It shrinks the enlarged prostate as it inhibits dht(dihydrotestosterone) it is available by prescription only.

Here are some ...: Dutasteride (Avodart) is like finasteride (Proscar) exerting its effect to block 5-alpha reductase so to prevent testosterone conversion to dihydrotestosterone - active form of T; thereby, it shrinks the prostate to further help improve urine flow and BPH-related symptoms. So, its use is common. For details, ask Doc timely.
