Please tell me what does a nurse anesthetist do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

CRNA: A nurse anesthetist administers anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist or has another md consign the chart/anesthesia record. There are varying roles for nurse anesthetist a but generally they need a md to consign/supervise them. They are advanced practice nurses that function as anesthetists in and out of the operating room suite.
