Walking on your toes - can doing this exercise get you toned legs?

Moving the leg in : Both directions would tone the legs better not just "plantarlexion" or moving the foot downward. Walking on the toes is similiar to walking in high heel. Definition is seen but excercising the muscle will bring out more definition.

Tone: While this would semi tone the muscles , it will shorten the achilles tendon and you will have muscle imbalance. Much better to do conventional exercises designed to work the anterior and posterior muscles
