No: No. The only thing that causes laxity usually is child birth with vaginal delivery. This can be corrected with surgery and to some degree with pelvic floor exercises.

Yes and no: The vagina can develop some laxity or looseness with age. There is some evidence that regular sexual activity helps promote vaginal health as women get into middle age and menopausal years and can help maintain muscle tone of muscles around the vagina. Performing kegels or pelvic muscle contractions on a regular basis can also help keep tone.
