I was wondering what are the effects of carcinogens?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Associated with Ca: Carcinogens in the water and food are known to be associated with appearance of malignancies. By themselves they may not be completely effective since a tumor to have immortality needs telomerase activity turned on. This can occur with secondary EBV transfection having a membrane protein homologous to FGARAT which induces telomerase. A separate gene tp turm on MMP is also needed for s eCAD.
