See ORS: If u have fractured your wrist and were seen initially by your pcp or urgent care clinic or er doc get a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. @ age 36 some wrist fx.'s may require surgery if displaced and/ or intrarticular( fx. Goes into the joint)w/ less displacement. Most common is distal radius fx.Non- displaced fxs.Can be casted. Any signifigant displacement @ age36 will prob. Require plating.Gl.

Get it treated: Treatment could be as simple as casting or requiring surgery depending on how severe the fracture is. See an Orthpadic surgeon.
