Renal insufficency: Renal insufficiency is now called chronic kidney disease (ckd). There are very few symptoms, if any in stages 1 and 2 of ckd. When people progress on to higher stages of ckd, there ares some blood labs that turn abnormal. Patients are symptom free, until their gfr.
