Genital warts: The commonest cause of bumps on the penis is genital warts and herpes genitalis. They are sexually transmitted and it is important to check for other stds. See your pcp who can confirm the diagnosis and treat it. Topical treatment is also sometimes used in appropriate cases.

See a dermatologist: Exactly where are they? Pearly pink papules (that is the technical term!) are tiny, benign spots around the head of the penis. On the shaft you may see benign hair follicles. Lichen planus spots are seen there. Warts are also possible. See an expert for best care.
