Use pills properly: Using 1 birth control pill does not protect against pregnancy but disrupts the normal hormonal cycle. She should go back to her prescriber or health care provider.

Be clearer: You'll have trouble getting an answer with the information you've supplied. You need to be clearer. What happened four months before she took the pill? What kind of pill did she take? A single birth control pill? The morning after pill? Why did she take it if you didn't have sex? How long after taking the pill did the bleeding start? Days? Months?
