If fetus in 1st trimester is measuring "small", does it mean that you aren't as far along as u thought, or there's an issue?

Either: When the size of the embryo is less than expected in the first trimester then it could be that the person conceived later than expected or that there is an issue with the fetus including a possible miscarriage situation. A repeat ultrasound a week later will clarify what is going on. Good luck!
