High ferritin and high parathormone, what could be the cause.

Uncertain: It is very difficult to interpret a test result without knowing the reason why it was done. Ferritin levels relate to iron stores in the body, but also can be high related to liver disorders. Parathyroid hormone can only be interpreted with a simultaneous calcium level, as it is the hormone that regulates calcium in the body.

Two illnesses: Both hemochromatosis and parathyroid adenoma are common. Don't look for a single cause. Either or both may have some other cause, but these are the treatable, deadly-if-untreated entities to consider first.
