Most likely effectiv: If the edges of the birth control patch aren't sticking but the majority of the patch is then a woman is protected. If the patch is wrinkled and sticking to itself so a lot less of the patch is touching the skin then a woman won't be getting the full dose of the medication and she won't be as well protected. In such a case it would be best to replace the patch.
