Worsening of symptom: There will be worsening of symptoms like nausea and vomiting and pain in epigastrum it is time to consult your doctor or gastroenterologist as it may not be only gastritis and may have an ulcer and may need endoscopy.

Needs evaluation: If you are having recurrence , or not responding to over the counter medication, then you need to see doctor for better evaluation.Of your gastritis.You should not continue to take otc med all the time, it is best to get evaluate to get med , or consult your diet as well as your stress .That may continue to give you problems.
