Manic depression: People with untreated manic depression can have impulsive urges that are hard to fight at times, especially when manic. If something within is telling you things like this. Please do tell your psychiatrist. In your medicines you have not listed any mood stabilizer, but you list 3 antidepressants. This is a concern. Take care.

Impulse control: Is a good thing. Keep using it. If it is more than an impulse and you mean that you "hear" a voice - it might be a psychotic symptom - still it t is good you resist it. It does seem that the meds you take might not be as effective as you'd want. Talk with your therapist - or get one. Traffic can get to anyone, but I do hear your distress. There are more basic symptoms of m-d, got any? Talk to dr.
