You can try the pill: If you are a non-smoker, have tested negative for factor v leiden, and mthfr genotypes (which can make your body more susceptible to clots), going on a low dose birth control pill can be a wonderful way to regulate your periods. When on the pill, your uterus does not make that lining. You can even skip periods altogether by taking pills straight through-skip placebos and go to next active pill.
