A member asked:

Could anaphylactic reaction to administered antibiotic provoke a yeast overgrowth in the organism, as well as the blurry/double vision? thank you.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Anaphylaxis: Anaphylactic reaction is a rapid reaction that if treated rapidly should be able to revert back to normal. It does not affect the immune system and therefore does not cause yeast infection. Double vision is a consequence of a neuroloigcal problem. Unless the reaction was prolonged and resulted in brain damage, i highly doubt it is related.
