Hepatitis A: If your last liver enzymes were normal then the wine shouldn't have hurt your liver. If the liver is severely inflamed the stool usually is pale and the urine is brown. Have your liver enzymes tested to see where you stand.

Another cause,,,: This is likely due to another reason. Hepatitis a is a almost always a limited infection that the body recovers from and is very rarely serious. If you're not used to drinking and you had a lot of holiday foods you might get these findings. If the pain persists, see your doctor for examination and blood tests to be sure there isn't some other cause. Good luck.
