Needs to be checked: Severe back pain for five days needs to be checked by your doctor.You will need a detailed history.Physical exanmination and a comprehensive exam and you may need imaging likt cat scan or mri you may need to be treated with pain meds.Anti inflammatory meds and if needed for short course narcotic pain meds.
