Is it possible for student doctors to get me sick if they come from a room with someone with a bad infection?

Universal precautins: Properly trained student doctors will practice proper hand washing, gowning & glove use or other universal precautions when appropriate. These precautions are the same for them as they are for the nursing or senior doctor staff. If you witness what you believe is a break in technique or lack of attention to these issues, ask those involved &/or report your observations to the senior staff.
