Pediatrician: This sounds like a doctor should see this.In your area there is an excellent children's hospital and a system of pediatric express cares. If infected could be serious. If not could become infected.

Wound care: Culture the wound and see the urgent care center or hospital to have the wound cleaned and dressed. Antibiotic treatment may then be prescribed. Poor healing is associated with infection, immune deficiency, diabetes and poor circulation. Please follow up with your physician.
