Drowsiness: Hydrocodone may not have any side effects if patients taking it regularly. The brain and body tend to acclimate to most side effects. Constipation may be a side effect that lingers.
When taken occasionally, it may cause drowsiness.
If taken with alcohol or other sedative medicines, it could cause a dangerous level of sedation. In overdose with alcohol, it could be fatal. Talk to your physician.
