Following a bike accident i suffered multiple rib fractures. the ribs have not healed right. what are my options?

Causing pain? : If they healed ; r solid but not in perfect alignment, there is no reason 2 worry. Only if u r having symptoms do u need eval by a thoracic surgeon.

Surgery or not: Rib fractures rarely either require or benefit from surgery.If markedly diplaced they may cause ongoing pleural irritation and pain and either excision of a displaced fragment or rib plating can be considered. If surgery is elected chose both the surgeon and procedure carefully.
