Colon screens.: Most likely, a person with this cancer would present to a doctor with symptoms of colon cancer or hemorrhoids (pain, bleeding, mass). Colon cancer patients can have bleeding, anemia, weight loss, and occult blood, etc. Depending on location of the ttumor. A fecal occult blood test is done, as is colonoscopy, if needed. If an obvious mass is seen, biopsy would likely be done to detect cancer.
